The carGO mobile application, website, and other technology (collectively, the “carGO Application”) is licensed by and operated by applicable affiliates or licensees of carGO - Holdings, LLC, a Missouri limited liability company (“carGO”). The carGO Application provides a technology platform that allows persons seeking ground transportation or food/product delivery (“Users”) to request or to match that User with persons willing to provide the User ground transportation (“Drivers”). The exchange between Drivers and Users for ground transportation or delivery arrange through the carGO Application will be called “Services”. You acknowledge that carGO does not actually provide the Services, but simply provides a forum with which you can engage one or more Drivers.
This policy applies to, all but not limited to:
carGO may collect information through technology that does not identify you personally in order to make the carGO Application more interesting and useful for you and other users. This information may also be used to make your experience on the carGO Application better by optimizing the performance of the carGO Application within a given browser or operating system and increasing the speed of navigation through the carGO Application.
User Identifier. carGO may log all connections to carGO's web servers. Those log files may include a unique user identifier, including, but not limited to, your IP address and/or you mobile operating system (OS), carGO's embedded, or other commonly used mobile device identifier (a “User Identifier”). A User Identifier is NOT personally identifiable information, but general information about your location, connection to the internet, and your internet or mobile phone service provider. carGO uses your User Identifier to help diagnose problems with carGO's server and to administer the Services. Additionally, carGO may use your User Identifier to track your navigation of the carGO Application.
Log Files. Like most standard application servers, carGO may use log files. Information collected in log files may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, your User Identifier, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), mobile network provider, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and/or number of clicks. carGO utilizes this information to analyze trends, administer the carGO Application, track your movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This information is not personally identifiable and may be used to make your experience with the carGO Application better.
Embedded Scripts. The carGO Application may include embedded scripts which collect usage information regarding your use of the carGO Application. carGO will use this information to improve the carGO Application and your user experience.
Mobile Platform Permissions. Mobile device platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) define types of data that mobile applications apps cannot access without your consent. Each mobile device platform differs in the process for obtaining your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time the carGO Application seeks your permission to access data and will let you consent (or not consent) to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the carGO Application seeks before you first use the carGO Application, and your use of the carGO Application constitutes your consent.
You must register and provide your personal contact information to use the carGO Application. In registering with the carGO Application, you will have to provide your contact information and other personal information, such as your name and e-mail address. When populating your carGO profile, you may choose to provide additional personal information related to your addresses, profile picture, mobile phone number, or any other information you choose to include in your user profile. During your use of the site, carGO will collect addresses that you input when requesting the Services. carGO will also collect and retain your account history, the details of the Services you obtained, including the starting and ending location, the distance and the fee, and the name of the Driver performing the Services.
carGO may collect your current location if your user settings allow such location. carGO will also collect precise information regarding your Services. In some cases, you may allow the carGO Application to access your then-current location in order to use the Services, and in such cases, carGO may collect your location when the carGO Application is running on your mobile device. The cargo Application only uses current location data from User location when a User chooses to use their current location as a pickup location. Driver’s current location is required at all times.
carGO may collect transaction information related to our services included, but not limited to, order details, amount charged, time and date of the service, delivery information, and and distance traveled.
carGO may collect information about the ways in which you interact with our services. This information will include, but not be limited to, application features, application crash information, types of browsers, access times and dates, and recent third-party sites that the user was interacting with prior to using our services. carGO collects this information thorugh pixel tags, cookies and similar technology that create and maintain user unique identifiers.
carGO may collect information about the device that you are using for our services. This information will include the device type, model, hardware version, IP address and other device identifiers, serial numbers, and mobile network information.
carGO may collect additional information and share this information with other users(for example your name and location for a driver on a pickup), at your request, with carGO business partners, with other carGO accounts you may use, for legal reasons or in the event of a dispute, and with carGO subsidiaries and affiliates.
carGO may collect and log calls and/or SMS text messaging history between you and a Driver.
You are solely responsible for the information and other content you post on or through the carGO Application, including any personal information included in SMS texts, posts, captions or remarks on communication tools. You understand that personal and other information (e.g., user names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, personal life events) that you post on or through the carGO Application (e.g., interaction with other users), are generally accessible to and may be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages or other contact from others. Users of these communication tools are encouraged to exercise caution when providing their own personal information while using the carGO Application.
In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, 15 U.S.C., §§ 6501-06 and 16 C.F.R., §§ 312.1-312.12, the carGO Application does not permit children under thirteen (13) years of age to become users, and carGO does not collect information from children. By using the carGO Application, you represent that you are thirteen (13) years of age or older.
The carGO Application includes commercially reasonable security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under carGO's control; however, user acknowledges that no security measures are always effective, and carGO does not guarantee the performance or adequacy of such security measures.
The carGO Application may contain links to other third-parties that are not owned or operated by carGO. carGO is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third parties or the content or security of such third-party websites. You agree to bear all risk associated with employing any third party and obtaining their goods or services through any third-party links provided in the carGO Application.
